This is a Beautiful Antique Historical Western Metal Horse With Rider William F. Cody known as Buffalo Bill Cody. The Statue Rider is none other than William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill Cody). This item was a popular souvenir that could be bought at Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Shows back around the turn of the century. I have owned it for many years and I purchased it from an estate sale. This appears to be some type of Metal with a gold or gilded paint. It is in good condition with lots of wear and many bangs that made chips in the paint. The Rider Buffalo Bill was welded on at some time, but over the years it has serperated. When the Rider Buffalo Bill is seated on the Horse, you cannot see where it came unwelded.. It has an ornate base that measures approximately 3 1/2 x 9 inches, and is 9 3/4 inches tall. This Would Be a Great Addition to Any Collection
