Jim Clark and Team Lotus scored a famous victory in the Indianapolis 500 on 31st May 1965. 
The British team came and dominated the race at the fabled 'brickyard', Jimmy driving the Lotus-Ford type 38. 
He set numerous records during the race with a winning speed of 150.686mph, recording the first win for a rear-engined car in the Indy 500 and the first victory for a Ford engine.
