The pair of KAM i2n are very versatile percussion and instrument condenser microphone. With frequency response of 20Hz to 20KHz.

·         Bass roll-off switch to reduce background noise for overhead drums and non-bass instruments

·         Each i2n mic includes two capsules: cardioid uni-directional and an omni directional capsule.

·         I2n can be used for recording any instruments, including acoustic guitars, guitar and bass amplifier cabinets, and even vocals (with included pop filter).

·         The omni directional capsules are great for over-head recording of drums in the studio since they cover the entire set. The cardioid capsules are appropriate for close micing of  cymbals in live situations since they can be pointed away from monitors and PA speakers to reduce feed-back problems.

ST2  mics provide high background noise rejection, internal shock mounts and a frequency response appropriate for toms, snares, and many other sources. In fact they sound very close to SM-57 (the universal mic!) with slightly more bass to capture the rumble of toms. They work for guitar cabinets as well. 

BD2 mic is designed to make kick drums stand out in the mix. Many bass drum mics do not pick up mid-high frequencies. As a result they do not reproduce the impact of the bass drum pedal well and have a boomy sound that gets lost in the mix. In addition to deep bass reproduction, BD2 picks up mid-highs very well to capture the transient sound of the pedal hitting the bass drum head. It is also appropriate for bass cabinets and other bass instruments.
