This is 400micron flake it's twice the size of my standard flake and gives 3 times the effect of the 200 micron flake, this is more like the old school, flake that is a bigger for a more sparkly affect,  This is automotive flake as are all my flakes on ebay, If you buy non automotive flake it will melt in solvent as modern flake has a protective polyester coating on it to protect the flake from discolouration in solvent, but some flake on ebay is not automotive and has a vinyl based plastic coating which is not solvent proof and will melt in the lacquer leaving you flakes unprotected and prone to discolouration, I have sold over 7000 bags of flake up to now with very positive results from my customers,  To use add to lacquer or gel coat and spray as normal, Size of flake is 400microns so will go thru spray equipment with a 2.2 nozzle or bigger and give a more uniform finish which in turn gives a better shine,  This flake also has superb ultra violet resistance so it will not fade in the sun.

(other sellers have put a disclaimer on the bottom of there advertisement to say that they will not be held responsible for your flake discolouration if you mix the hardener to the wrong consistency and if the thinners are not mixed properly, or even if you use a fast drying hardener, saying that you will get discolouration form solvent)

(if this is happening then this means that they are not automotive solvent and light proof flakes as stated, they are water based flakes, and i have had customers come from a flake seller saying that they have had there paint jobs ruined by this discolouration and fade over a few months, by this time feed back has been left and you have no come back, you get what you pay for ?, would you spend a couple of quid for flakes on your car, (i dont think so) so buyers be aware) 

( All of my flakes are the real deal, not the cheapest but without a doubt the very best flakes you can buy, they can all be added safely to any solvent based product, and if you do get your mixing wrong your flakes wont be damaged as with the very cheap flakes)
