The book is inscribed: “Bob, You make me look and feel and be great! Thanks, Michael, Sept. 21, 1998." The book was signed in the month and year of publication Eisner remarked on Schiffer passing: "Bob was one of the quiet talents who made Hollywood great. He worked with the legendary stars, who we all know by single names Astaire, Bogart, Welles, Hepburn, Hayworth, Lancaster, Midler, and Hanks. But, among people behind the cameras, Bob was a legend himself. It was my privilege to work with him throughout my 21 years with the company. He is very much a part of the Disney legacy." Starting in 1932 with makeup work on the Marx Brothers’s Horsefeathers, he had a 69 year career in Hollywood and worked on over 200 films.  Schiffer (1916-2005) arrived at Disney Studios in 1968, and personally worked on such films as Tron, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Splash, Escape to Witch Mountain, and many others. When Michael Eisner started appearing on television to introduce sequences as spokesperson for the company, Schiffer personally supervised Eisner makeup. Hardound. Fine in a fine dust jacket.
