This German silvered glass Christmas ornament is Punch the clown, from the Victorian Punch and Judy puppet shows. He has a long, well defined face and his hands rest on his big belly. The ornament is 3-1/2 inches high. There is quite a bit of flaking to the gel paint on the hat and suit. Lightner's book Christmas Rarities values this ornament at $175 to $225.
