Manueller Plattenspieler mit Gerätebasis Pro-Ject Ground it deluxe 3
Durch intensive Hörtests stellte Pro-Ject fest, dass jedes Material seine Klangeigenschaften und Eigenresonanzen wie ein "Fingerprint" auf den Klang überträgt. Pro-Ject entwickelte eine eigene Messmethode um Materialresonanzen nachvollziehbar zu machen. Das Ergebnis war eindeutig. Je mehr Masse desto geringer die Resonanzamplitude und je mehr Materialkombinationen (Sandwichkonstruktion) desto diffuser – sprich weniger bemerkbar – ist der materialcharakteristische Eigenklang.
Das RPM 10.1 Chassis ist das Resultat der Forschungen von Pro-Ject. MDF mit metallsandgefüllten Kammern erhöht die Masse und dämpft die Eigenresonanz völlig. Auch beim Plattenteller ist hohe Masse erforderlich. Der Vorteil der hohen Masse kann durch den erhöhten Druck auf das Lager Rumpeln erzeugen. Die Lösung sind hier Magnete, die den Plattenteller ultraleicht, fast schwebend auf dem invertierten keramischen Lager drehen lassen. Ansonsten ist das Design vom vielgelobten RPM 9 bekannt und bewährt. Bassdynamik und Ruhe sind die klaren Fortschritte gegenüber den schon bisher vorhandenen klanglichen Vorzügen der Pro-Ject Familie.
Alle anderen Ausstattungsmerkmale sind bereits vom hochgelobten RPM 9 bekannt und das Deck profitiert auch von einem 10" Evolution Tonarm und wird mit einem Pro-Ject Ground it Deluxe 3 geliefert - um den Plattenspieler weiter von Resonanzquellen zu isolieren.
Unberührte Bass-Dynamik und eine totale Ruhe sind die klaren Vorteile, die in diesem Modell enthalten sind, verglichen mit allen anderen Plattenspielern der Pro-Ject-Familie.

Manual turntable with equipment base Pro-Ject Ground it deluxe
Through intensive listening tests, Pro-ject learnt that different materials transmit their own specific 'resonating fingerprint' on the acoustic performance in the vinyl playback process. As a result they developed a specialised measurement process, wherein all the acoustic effects on sound output are now totally comprehensible and understandable.
The main findings from this new means of testing was that higher mass materials cause the resonance amplitude to be lower. Moreover, by using combinations of different materials, resonances become even more diffused and less apparent on the audio performance. The new RPM 10.1 chassis is the end-result of this research.
Chambers within the RPM 10.1 chassis are filled with steel filings and metal, giving it a high mass, allowing the structure to dampen all resonances effectively. The platter is also very heavy, helping add mass and reduce resonance again. However, the advantage of high mass can also result in a higher rumble of the main bearing. So to avoid the decline of sound quality in this respect, magnets are positioned to make the platter almost float on the inverted main bearing, with its ceramic ball and plate.
All other design features are well known from the highly acclaimed RPM 9, and the deck also benefits from a 10" Evolution tonearm, and is supplied together with a Pro-Ject Ground it Deluxe 3 - further isolating the turntable from resonant sources.
Pristine bass dynamics and an overall calmness are the clear advantages inherent within this model, compared to all other turntables of the Pro-Ject family.
