This listing is for an unusual Victorian Period double ended glass scent bottle with silver ends, c. 1900. This nice bottle has elongated diamond cut body and enamel insert under glass on each end with enamel monogram "A H A".
Measures 5 3/8" long and 1 1/4" in diameter.
The silver tops are unmarked and the silver plating is worn with gold slightly exposed on the band that is closest to the glass. One top has a snap closure and the other has a screw on top. Each end has a rope band encircling the glass dome top and has embossed initials above a golden background. The two "A" initials are done in white enamel and the center "H" initial is in blue enamel.
The glass body is in very good Estate condition with only minor faint dings commensurate with normal/expected wear. No major chips or flaws.
The silver on the push button collar has a very faint small hairline under the hinge and slight discoloration around the push screw and hinge. The upper part of this top is in very good condition with only slight wear to the silver as mentioned above. When open, there is a round glass panel under the decorative top with monogram.
The silver on the screw off top has a slight dent in the wide band at the bottom and a very tiny almost unnoticeable faint dent in the wide rounded edge of the top. Please view all photos as part of description.
