Imperial Airways Liner Frobisher Class by Dinky Toys No. 62w Circa 1939

This is a nice pre-war dinky model of the Imperial Airways Liner ‘Frobisher’. 

The model is silver, with four red tinplate propellers, gliding game hole and It has the letters ‘G – A, F D I’ on the wings and ‘Frobisher’ on the front fuslage. 

On the underside of the plane is cast ‘Dinky Toys, Frobisher Class Air Liner’, Made in England by Meccano Ltd’. 



~ Dimensions ~ 

The plane has a wingspan of 5 ¾ inches (14.5cm) and is 4 inches (10cm) from nose to tail. It weighs 44g. 


~ Condition ~

The model is in great played condition with only minimal wear to the silver paint.
