AGV Compact Pinlock anti-fog inserts clip between two adjustable eccentric pins located in your helmet visor, these inserts can be easily swapped over depending on your riding needs. The AGV Compact Pinlock insert is made of a moisture absorbing plastic and the silicone seal on the Pinlock insert ensures there is an insulating air layer between the Pinlock insert and the visor. Both these combinations make Pinlock the worlds number one anti-fog product.

Fog resistance level

The AGV Compact Pinlock lenses are all supplied in the Pinlock 70 fog resistant level. The Pinlock 70 is a premium fog resistant solution for riders. Enhanced with strong fog resistant properties, the insert lens has extended fog resistant endurance which helps riders see better through challenging weather conditions. The Pinlock 70 was previously known as the Original lens.

Colour Options

Clear Insert

This clear insert is now being supplied with the helmet as standard by most helmet manufacturers. This insert offers you clear and fog free vision under normal weather conditions.

Light Tint Insert

If the sun is shining with partially cloudy skies, the light smoke is the perfect insert. This lightly tinted insert offers comfortable vision under these conditions.

Dark Tint Insert

If the sun will be shining at full force, the time has come to equip your visor with the dark smoke insert. This insert provides excellent protection against the most brilliant of sunshine.

Yellow

If it will be heavily cloudy or the weather conditions will be changing, an insert with more contrast is the right solution. The yellow Pinlock insert is excellent for misty and rainy weather.

ProtecTINT

Photochromic inserts tint under the effect of UV light. As the UV light becomes stronger, the insert will tint darker. This means that the Pinlock insert tints from clear to smoke and vice versa under the effect of the UV light. Just perfect during a journey with different weather conditions. Continuously changing inserts will also be a thing of the past.

The photochromic material will be activated immediately because of UV light and this means that the insert will have a darker color. This offers perfect vision on the road even when you are riding in full sunshine. The insert will not catch UV light at night meaning the insert will be clear under these conditions. A perfect advantage because you will only need to take one shield with you!

Please be advised, as the ProtecTINT insert reacts to UV light strength and current weather conditions, during the winter months or when the UV strength is lower, the insert may not react as fast and tint to it's full capacity.

All returns and exchanges require a return authorization number, please contact us via ebay returns before returning your goods.

When you are returning an item to us we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

All returns will need to be sent back unused* and in a saleable condition** in their original condition & packaging.

** Saleable Condition - Items must be in same condition as they were sent. This includes packaging, bags, documentation protective films etc. If this is not the case The Helmet Shop may charge for repackaging or refuse the accept the return.

* Unused Condition - Visors & Pinlocks can be returned if they have not been fitted or attempted to be fitted and there protective films are still attached. Helmets can only be returned if all protective films & tags are still attached.
