Being a local bottle to me this is the ONLY example of this stone ware bottle I have ever seen. Standard Ginger Beer shape with a cork blob top... green glaze like a Porter and impressed at the base G.R. MASHAM. research for someone..

This is an antique 19th Century stoneware bottle which has a green glaze as you find on Porter bottles with the longer neck.. this looks like a standard Ginger Beer bottle... but its got an impressed name at the bottom.
G.R. MASHAM
A blob cork top.....its crude is the blob shaped top.
It has an old chip ding on the base which I have pictured.
I am from this area and this is the ONLY known example to me ...in over 40 years bottle digging and collecting I have never seen another ...broken or complete.
It is 6 and 3/4 inch tall x 2 and 3/4 inch dia.
