Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay star in this horror thriller directed by Farren Blackburn. The film follows Mary Portman (Watts), a child psychologist living a solitary life in rural New England with her paralysed son Stephen (Charlie Heaton), who is in a catatonic state following a car accident six months earlier. After taking in and agreeing to care for Tom (Tremblay), a young patient who unexpectedly shows up at her door, Mary begins to feel more positive about her future for the first time since the accident. However, when Tom suddenly disappears into the woods and is presumed dead, Mary begins experiencing disturbing visions as a series of sinister events lead her to believe her home has become haunted by a malevolent force. The cast also includes Oliver Platt, David Cubitt and Cl�mentine Poidatz.
