This listing is for a gorgeous 19th Century Royal Worcester hand painted porcelain 7.25" cabinet vase with gilt embellished floral decoration, c. 1888.
Measures 7 1/4" high with a "squared" top width of 1" and 1 3/4" base diameter. Weighs 5.4 ounces.
This lovely vase has soft ivory colored background with a matte finish and is hand painted with rust colored flowers and soft green foliage on the front and soft lavender flowers on the back with both designs embellished with gilding. The vase has a squared top with a molded band below. At the base of the neck is another molded design above the round lower body. There are two curved small handles at the shoulder.
The base is marked with the Royal Worcester trademark stamp in purple ink with incised number "784" with date code for 1888.
This nice vase is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The enameling and gilding are bright showing no wear.
