Olive Drab (OD) on dark blue wool chevrons used on all uniforms from the 1920's to after World War 2.
Worn on all uniforms but mainly used on wool shirts, service coats, overcoats, field jackets, etc. Before 1936 and the adding of Khaki chevrons, these wool-backed chevrons were the only style used (with many variations). Used on male and female uniforms.
Machine embroidered OD stripes on blue/black wool.
