Heino Anto (also Hindrik Anto, 13 October 1882 Saaremaa, Torgu Parish, Rahuste Village - September 13, 1955 Tallinn)
was an Estonian playwright, theatre activist, translator and politician (member of the II Riigikogu).
He studied in the town of Kuressaare from 1893-1898. He received a postal and telegraph officer invitation and worked there
in the years 1902-1914 and 1917-1924 (being the head of the Tallinn General Post Office from 1917-1921). During The World War I,
he was a military official, from 1924-1925, editor of the magazine Our Market and 1926-1939 Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In 1925-1926 (he became a member of the Peeter Lindau retired on June 5, 1925), he was a member of the Estonian Parliament
(in the composition of the Workers' Union). In the years 1907-1916 (at intervals), he was a dramaturge and actor in Estonia,
as well as in the playwright's studio at the Valveja and Luther factory at the National Theater Hall. He was the founder of the
Drama Theater in 1916 and, in the years 1918-1924 (behind the work of a post office worker), there was a playwright and actor there.
In 1917 he acted in the Tallinn Workers' Theater. He wrote plays and translated works by Russian, German and French authors
