I love typography and posters that put typography front and center - like this very early French poster for a bicycle company called Cycles Clement.

About Clement, I have discovered that :  In 1896 Adolphe Clément, the founder of the company, was not only manufacturing bicycles but also held the extremely profitable manufacturing rights for Dunlop tires in France. Clément and Dunlop bought out theGladiator Cycle Company and merged it into a major bicycle manufacturing conglomerate of Clement, Gladiator & Humber & Co. Ltd.  The range of cycles was expanded and in 1902 a motorized bicycle was introduced. The company later manufactured both cars and motorcycles.

Recently linen-backed and in very good condition.
