The TICN coating is 80 percent harder than the old TIN coating (gold colored coating). Under most drilling conditions, these will hold up 2 to 4 times longer than the same bit coated with TIN. Due to our volume purchasing and low overhead, we are able to sell a better bit, at a lower cost than what many lesser bits sell for.
