Parker 51, aerometric filler, in Midnight Blue celluloid with gold filled cap in the converging lines pattern.

This is one of the prettiest aerometric-fill Parker 51s I've seen. The lines on the cap are crisp and deep, and the imprints, both on the cap and on the barrel, are sharp. Nice clear original plyglass sac.

The barrel has a date code of '8' with one dot, indicating production in the third quarter of 1948. Fine point nib.

As found, unrestored. Original plyglass filler is working fine. Length is about 5 7/16 inches.

The writing samples are made using the pen itself, dipped in Waterman Intense Black black. The paper is a Rhodia pad with 5mm squares.
