ABOUT BIG-LITTLE BOOKS These unique and charming books are prized by book and comic book fans. They started in 1932, a year before the modern comic book format debuted.
The most well know book in this format is the Big Little Book, issued by Whitman, but there are also different names (such as "Better Little Books")
and different publishers (such as Saalfield). These books usually measure 3-1/2 inches by 4-1/2 inches. They usually contain 432 pages. There is
usually text on one page, and artwork on the opposing page. There are many variants, but all similar books are generally referred to under the
umbrella name of Big Little Books. Because of the age and fragile nature of these books, it's very rare to find them in high grade. I have
inspected each book, and will note if the book is missing pages, or if the spine is missing, the page quality, and other defects.
