Vector Evo is simply a fantastic skiing boot.  Head has captured all the shell geometry from the Raptor race models that have dominated World Cup Racing in recent years, and incorporated that geometry into an All Day Comfortable, high performance line of boots.  As in the previous Vector series, this boot has extra room where you want it (mostly in the toe box) with the snug, performance fit where you need it.  It feels quite cushy when you first put it on, thanks to Head's exclusive Perfect Fit liner foam.  Vector Evos Dynamic Frame shell design allows for a more upright, comfortable and super efficient stance on the ski.  Boot design is not always about science, and often about art.  Head Engineers/Artists have managed to create a boot that skis amazingly well, but is also supremely comfortable at the same time.

This Vector Evo 100 HT offers very good performance, especially at this price, and is constructed with better shell material throughout than the all black Vector Evo 100 that is most often seen/sold.  Full polyurethane upper and lower gives this boot better durability AND better performance.  PU is the top material available used to build ski boots.  It is a denser. closer linked material than the SL plastic used to build the lower shell in the black, non HT version of this model.  Buckles, adjustments and fit are exactly the same.  Its two position flex adjustment allows it to be set up to ski at either a 100, or a 90 flex rating.  Here is a full list of the features found on the Vector Evo 100 HT:
  • Two piece Dynamic Frame shell design.  Skiing is easier, because the shell is designed to transmit energy to the ski down the rear of the boot shell.  This means you do not have to flex forward nearly as much, and with nearly as much pressure, as in other ski boots.
  • Full Polyurethane upper and lower shell is Head's best material used to build their ski boots, and is the same material used in the top of the line Vector Evo 130S and 120.  This shell material is more abrasion resistant, so the sole is more durable, and it simply skis better.  Polyurethane is much denser than the SL plastic used to build the lower shell of the inline Vector Evo 100 (and the VE 110).  That makes this boot an outstanding value when compared to these other models at the same, or higher price.
  • Vector Evo shell shape is designed with more length and room in the toe box, but with a performance fit everywhere else.  Fits All Day comfortable, but with race like performance
  • Micro adjustable  - allow for very precise adjustment of fit.  This is very important in a boot that fits close to the foot for performance skiing.
  • Easy flex adjustment flex is located on the back of the boot.  Simply remove the bolt, flip over the adjusted, and voila the flex is softened or stiffened.  Very effective, and super easy with the wrench provided.
  • Very modern shell geometery with a lower ramp angle inside the boot (4 degrees) and less forward lean.  Modern skis with wide shapes and rockered profiles ski better with this geometry.
  • Perfect Fit S liner is a big part of the magic of this boot.  It feels great right out of the box, and molds to your foot as you wear the boot.  It feels way to comfortable to be a performance boot, but it skis like a much firmer liner.  Again, part of the art in designing ski boots is how the liner is constructed.  Head has this nailed really, really well.  This is the most comfort oriented liner found in the Vector Evo series.

How does the Vector Evo 100 fit?  The overall shape of the boot fits medium to slightly wider than an average volume foot.  Width is average, the toe box is roomy and the heel pocket is nice and snug.  The instep is slightly HIGHER and more forgiving than many overlap boots, and the upper cuff is a bit SHORTER (shorter yet if the spoiler is removed) and snug.  If you have medium width to slightly wider feet, a higher instep, or larger calves, this will be a great choice for you.

in the event of a product failure.  However, warranty decisions are solely made by
the manufacturer of the item.  Only the manufacturer can decide if a warranty claim
is valid, and how to satisfy that claim.  But, we are here to help you, and will do our
