network leads at very low prices, Most of the time these low value cables are
CCA (copper clad aluminium or CCS Copper Clad Steel) network cables (Although
the description doesn’t always state it). The problem with CCA leads is you
just don't know what percentage of copper has been used within the cable construction,
CCA / CCS cables can be constructed with as little as 10% copper with the other
materials being Steel or aluminium, Copper is a better conductor than steel and
aluminium and a cable constructed from all copper will provide faster speeds
and also can help protect the cable from corrosion (which is an important
