Here is a pre-owned handmade crochet afghan throw that features the granny square pattern. Made of 192 individual multicolor crochet squares that were crocheted together with black yarn and has black crocheted edging.

I do not know the type of yarn used - probably a type of acrylic. I do not know when this afghan was crafted.

Great cottage look.

Measures approx. 55" wide x 79" long. Weighs about 4 lbs 6 oz.

There are 12 rows of 16 squares each. Total of 192 squares that are approx. 5" x 5". Most squares have multicolor centers with black edging - I counted 18 different solid colors and there is 1 variegated blue-pink-white yarn. Has an approx. 3/4" black crochet edging along all 4 sides.

Gently used or stored condition. Clean bright condition. I looked this afghan over and found no stains or tears. May be a few yarn ends to tuck in, some light surface fuzzies. No musty or smoke odor.
