This is a pretty antique cup & saucer set with hand painted fruit & flowers and gold trim that is approximately 200 years old according to a paper label that was on the bottom of the saucer at one time and is shown in the last photo. The label is no longer on the saucer because I removed it while looking for a Maker's mark. The label said that the cup and saucer were old Dresden and in 1972 they were over 150 years old. I purchased this set in the early 80s and did not notice the repaired area on the cup that is shown in the last several photos and a hairline on the outside. The footed cup is approx. 2 1/2" high & 3 1/2" across and the saucer, which is in nice condition, measures 6" across. The saucer is unmarked, but the cup has what appears to be an incised "B" on the bottom and the set weighs 10.4 ounces. I do not know if the set was made by Dresden, Royal Worcester Barr or another maker and I'm only going by the label to determine the age. If you can identify the Maker of this beautiful old set, please let me know. Even in the repaired condition, this may be a very rare and valuable set.

Please look at the photos to make your own judgement of the content & condition of the items and feel free to ask questions before bidding.
