Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a nice pair of vintage Kirk Sterling Silver salt cellars with matching pepper shakers and salt spoons in the engraved MAYFLOWER pattern issued in 1846. This lovely set is decorated with an elegantly engraved swag/scroll design that encompasses the center body with an engraved design on each piece. The engraved design forms a cartouche on the front of each piece which is engraved with a fancy 3-letter monogram "A C M". The salt cellars and pepper shakers are each marked "S. Kirk & Son Inc., Sterling, 4101 M". The spoons are marked "S. Kirk & Son Inc., Sterling". This Kirk mark was used from 1925-1932.

The salt cellars measure 1 3/4" high and 2 1/8" in diameter at the top. The shakers measure 5 1/8" high with a 1 3/4" diameter base. Salt spoons measure 3" long. Combined weight is 340 grams.

Each piece is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
