Specific Montblanc 149 nib design and cap engraving
The Elbphilarmonie is Hamburg’s latest landmark and one of the most cutting-edge concert halls in the world. Designed by architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, with its impressive glass façade and wave-like rooftop, it offers a spectacular view across the river Elbe.
As the main sponsor of the Elbphilharmonie, Montblanc reaffirms its commitment to art and culture through a special edition writing instrument to honor the grand opening of the new cultural highlight of the city of Hamburg. In order to celebrate this partnership, Montblanc created a special edition 149 fountain pen with red gold fittings. The cap of the writing instrument is adorned with an artistic engraving of the Elbphilharmonie. The nib shows a specific imprint with the outline of the Elbphilharmonie. The squared packaging is specific too (with a sketch of the Elbphilharmonie).
This writing instrument was produced for German market only and it is now sold out. So, if you want to add this special edition reference to your #149 line this is an unique opportunity.
The pen has never been used nor inked. It comes with all original boxes and papers (the white outer cardboard sleeve shows some imperfections). The concerned fountain pen was purchased in Dec. 2017 from Montblanc Boutique in Frankfurt (Germany).
