I recently had the priveledge of buying a watchmakers and jewelers collections of watches and watch parts.  One was a certified rolex repairman and he had a few nice watches and watch parts.  Here are some specifics about this watch:

Brand: Bulova

Model: Accutron Quartz with state farm 50th anniversary commemorative dial

Era: 1970s (N7 date code)

Running Condition: This watch does not run and is being sold as is for parts or repair.

Case Composition: Gold Plated Base Metal with stainless steel back

Case Dimensions including lugs, but not including crown: 41mm X 35mm

Band Composition: Black canvas

Useable Length: This watch and band combination can work for wrists up to 8 1/8 inches in circumference.  Of course this can easily be changed by changing out the watch band

Condition/Notes: There was just a few hundred of these watches produced

* Denotes current condition.  The service history of this watch is unknown to me unless I state otherwise.  Therefore you should expect to service this watch if you are a responsible collector.  Often times these watches have been forgotten in a jewelers desk or in a back room for 30 plus years.  I like to save them from that demise and get them back into the hands of collectors.  It doesn't take very long for old gummy oil to stop a movement from running ( many times just a week or so ) or even worse if the oil is dried out it might not take too long for the watch to grind itself up inside.  This is not specific to my watches, but to all that have not been serviced in the last few years. For this reason we only wind a watch a few turns to verify if it will go through the paces, so please understand I can only tell you if the watch is running here.  I am not putting a guarantee on the performance of a watch in reguards to timing or longevity. Due to the unknown history of these watches/watch parts the modification history is also unknown.  I would assume that at some point parts have been replaced as was common on ALL early time pieces

Thanks for looking. Please take a look at all the other watches and parts I have this week and weeks to come as well as my store inventory. I am telling you this, because I will gladly combine / reduce shipping whenever possible. No international bidders without prior approval. International shipments must be sent registered mail and insured. Please feel free to ask questions or request additional pictures. All watches and clocks are tested at time of listing and rechecked when shipping and video recorded for condition documentation. The post office can be unkind to vintage timepieces during shipment. Because of this I package items better than necessary to insure a positive experience. No International bidders without prior approval. All international shipments must be registered and insured. No Customs fees are included in the shipping quotes I give. Also I cannot be liable for delays at customs checkpoints. No Shipments to Italy ( sorry ) or any other country that is on our No Ship list. Thanks for looking and have a great day
