Francisco Pizarro González (circa 1471 or 1476 – 26 June 1541) was a Spanish conquistador who led an expedition that caused the fall of the Inca Empire. On his expedition he captured and killed the Incas emperor Atahualpa and claimed the fallen empire for the Spanish.
