Fronts Brakes use the Long Version Pivot Bolt to go through the width of a fork, from front to back. Nice New Steel Construction to replacement old worn out or rusty originals. Common to Vintage Schwinn brakes Like: Vintage Schwinn Approved, Vintage Weinmann brakes, and I think Vintage Schwinn Dia Comp and Antique Schwinn Script but lack those in hand to confirm, Also used on a lot of new Caliper Brakes. 6mm size is the smaller Diameter Pivot Bolt and opposed to a larger 7mm diameter pivot bolt (sorry I do not have 7s). I will give the dimensions so you can be sure it's right for you. The Bolt is 6mm in diameter and approximately 85mm long in total ( cap nuts will make it a tad longer ), the front caliper side is approx 26mm long and the back fork mount side is 50mm. The Pivot bolt has a slot for the brake spring (spring not included ) comes with nuts, cap nut, lock nut, spacers, washers, and curved mounting washers.
