Vintage large antique Art Deco / Space Age Eames Era BREITLING SICURA JUMP HOUR AUTOMATIC Selfwinding mens wristwatch in a ss screwback case. Breitling was making Sicura watches at this early time period. This watch is all original.
DIAL: Original brown dial signed: SICURA 17 JEWELS AUTOMATIC SELFWINDING . This dial has the unusual asymetric asymmetric cut-outs for the H hour and MINUTES and D date, and a small center sweep rotating hand.
CASE: Large unusual tonneau shaped case. Caseback has NO engraving and NO wear through spots. Signed with the large fish and seahorse insignia: SWISS MADE STAINLESS STEEL BACK WATER RESISTANT BASE METAL BEZEL .
SIZE: 44mm lug-to-lug. 36.5mm across without the crown. 39.5mm across with the winding crown.
MOVEMENT: Well made high grade antique mechanical automatic movement designed to automatically self wind itself with the movement of your wrist.
CONDITION: This watch does not run. If you rock the watch gently, the second hand ticks, so the balance is good. Needs cleaned and repaired as it has been sitting for a very long time.
