USA Scott #634 & C10 Lindbergh Airmail stamp tied by August 20, 1927 New York N.Y. Grand Central Station duplex handstamps and C10 also tied by September 1, 1927 London receiver. On reverse, 'AIRMAIL FLIGHT FAILED TO S.S. LEVIATHAN' auxiliary marking. (Failed due to fog) August 22, 1927  Varick St. Station slogan machine cancel and faint magenta Thos. Cook & Son 1 Sep 1927 (Thomas Cook forwarding agent) and partial boxed internal received, also on September 1, 1927. Address on front with New York return address adhesive added and 'The American Institute of Educational Travel, Educational Tours; Tour No. 92.' type crossed out with blue crayon. Also typewritten 'Via Airplane To S.S. "Leviathan"' Scarce cover and catapult marking!!

Sent 1927, opened cleanly at top with light general wear & toning. Very Fine condition.
