Chrome Molybdenum Body.

McGill PCM Series 2-piece male joints have 2 components; the ball liner and the body. The ball is inserted into the body and the body is then swaged around the ball to lock it in and it is then loosened to allow it to move. The body is made from Chrome Moly Steel. These joints are ideal for use in areas which require a high strength joint which requires a relatively high degree of mislaignment and a tight fitted ball. These joints are ideal for use in areas where the joint is constantly in motion.. These are commonly used in motorsport.

BALL:  52100 Bearing Steel  ~  Heat Treated  ~  Hard Chrome Plated  ~  Precision Ground

LINER: Teflon Liner between Ball and Body

BODY:  Chrome Moly ~  Heat treated  ~  Protective Coated for Corrosion Resistance
