6 1/4" Long max x 4 1/2" Wide
Antique reproduction open frame mechanical bristle brush corkscrew. The handle is hardwood, the shaft and worm are steel. The frame is likely cast brass or zinc due to the fact a magnet does not stick to it.
This is a very easy to use, well designed corkscrew. It works by simply turning the wooden handle and shaft all the way down so the worm is at its longest, you will then be able to thread it into the cork. Next by reversing the motion the shaft will raise the cork from the bottle using the frame for leverage on the rim of the bottle.
