One of the most beautiful antique French textiles ~ STUNNING Belle Epoque textile dating c1895 . An absolutely  remarkable find. ~ this curtain panel  uses the most wonderfully designed, large scale floral pattern . The colors have faded to perfection!! The tone of the ground is a lovely warm cream tone, beautifully aged, and the other colors include: very very pale turquoise green ( very pale blue green) faded khaki browns ~ This textile is backed in a natural calico cotton and is made by seaming together two widths of the stunning fabric. The top is pleated and the original metal rings are still hand stitched to the top, for hanging ~ this textile has the most wonderful timeworn quality, the ground has pale age marks, in places ( last photograph)  which add so much perfect charm. A real show stopper! ~*~ The front printed fabric is a medium to heavy weight cotton with stunning weave. There may be a very small amount of linen in the fabric ~   ~~ ideal for a period interior ~  ~*~   ~*~  ~   ( # 6 ) 

MEASUREMENTS : This lovely 59inches wide at the bottom by 67 inches long up to the rings ( there is a small return on the back which could be used also) The top, where it is pleated measures 45 inches wide ( could be released )

CONDITION :  I have hand laundered this stunning textile and it's ready to use. There are pale age marks on the ground of this textile throughout the body ~ the sides have faded more than the body. On the back cotton, in the bottom corner there are heavy age marks that didn't wash ( please see photograph 7, bottom right facing corner) ~ this textile is about as glorious as they get, and...in my opinion, the imperfections only make it more perfect! ~*~
