A 1933 article in the New Castle PA News by George Louden explained
the difference between the Caterpillar Club and Rip Cord Club of the World (R.C.C.W.). To become a member of the Caterpillar Club
one must jump in an emergency. To become a member of the Rip Cord Club one must
make a voluntary jump either after graduating from, or under the instruction a
graduate of the Chunate School of Parachute Rigging.
George Louden became a member of the R.C.C.W. in 1927.
