A fabulous antique French garment dating from the mid to late 1800's. This textile was created to be worn under a jacket. The back ties and the front has the most wonderful metal buttons!!! , 12 cut metal Art Nouveau design beautiful buttons , This textile is both hand and machine stitched. The front is a wonderful brushed soft cotton and the inside is indigo dyed cotton. Cranberry red and khaki design.
