Two antique original photographs backed up on thick card that are from F. M. Sutcliffe, Whitby. 

One is in black and white of a couple laying a stone with the trowel and hammer visible on a wall which must be a FOUNDATION STONE laying ceremony ...where not sure .. but its a large stone and plenty of folks about. ...a hill behind with trees and long fields.  

The other is a much older sepia CDV ....of a portrait of a man facing right..... see the 6 pictured medals on the back...from competitions or exhibitions.
Please be assured these are ORIGINAL Frank M Sutcliffe photographs and not copies or re prints. 

It is in collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. 
The edges and corners have signs of age and wear etc.

The larger photo measures approx. 8 inches x 5 inches in total.
The smaller photo measures approx. 4 inches x 2 and 1/2 inches in total.
