In 1990, Topps made six boxed sets that were apparently offered only through a TV promotion. While there is no mention on the set boxes or on the cards themselves, these have become known as the 'TV' sets.
One set of 66 was an All-Star issue while the other five 66 card sets were team issues. The teams were the Cardinals, Cubs, Mets, Red Sox, and Yankees. These were the only teams issued. Each card has the team name prominently listed on the fronts.
