The first authorized instructional DVD series offered to the public on this ancient Indonesian combat art. Shot in the mid-1980's!  Taught by Victor deThouars and Dan Inosanto. 
Volume 1 covers the history of Pentjak Silat, stretching, empty-hand fighting, stick fighting, coconut and bat breaking.  Plus, advanced techniques!  55 minutes.
Volume 2 covers street-fighting applications, training techniques, attacks and counterattacks, forms, grappling, and additional advanced techniques.  55 minutes.

This is digitally remastered from the original VHS videocassette. Although everything has been done to enhance the picture and sound quality, some quality degradation may still exist.  Most manufacturers of specialty titles now duplicate instead of replicate, and utilize inkjet printed covers. This may make DVDs appear to be counterfeit, however, this is the standard manufacturing process used by all others.
