        • A fabulous textile, rare and beautiful! This wonderful umbrella is a French Shepherd's umbrella dating from the early 1900's ~ Every summer, the shepherd guides his flock into the mountain pastures and he was equipped with his dog and his umbrella. 

             Covered with cotton which is dyed using indigo , the outside is more faded than the inside, just GORGEOUS ~ This umbrella would make the most wonderful decoration for any room , I like to hang them from the ceiling! ~*~ This gorgeous antique has a wonderful indigo blue cotton and there are bleached out marks also  which is part of the magical charm! . There are a few very small holes, some marks and also the fabric loop which was used to anchor the fabric to one of the spokes has broken so can just be replaced.  Please use the zoom feature to view condition closely~ It would make a remarkable room display   ( #366H)

          MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful umbrella measures 40 inches long and when opened out, measures approximately  55 inches in diameter!
