This lovely fabric is an antique French, Art Nouveau fabric , dating c1890. LOVELY design and scale ~ this beautiful heavy weight cotton fabric was printed as furnishing fabric and is printed on both sides. The colors include: warm fawn with touch of mauve in the fawn, reds, raspberry red, pink sienna purple, off white, very very pale faded soft blue. This fabric is a printed cotton , on a lovely heavy weight gently ribbed fabric. Each side has a thin machine stitched hem and the bottom has a machine stitched hem also. Both selvages are present and have been seamed in the past . This panel has two large hand stitched darns near the side edge, 27 inches from the bottom ( please see photographs of both sides of this darned area) ~ this fabric is ideal for pillows, light upholstery, curtains , hangings etc ~ ~*~ ( piece 10)
