Among Seuss' most polemic works warning of the dangers of corporate greed to society and the environment.

The first edition of the Seuss classic and adapted in 2012 by Universal Pictures. Seuss is said to have held 'The Lorax' as his the favorite of his titles as it

"came out of me being angry. In The Lorax I was out to attack what I think are evil things and let the chips fall where they might."

The issue points according to the Younger & Hirsch Seuss bibliography (p.123) are:
