Nissan Qashqai Boot Handle Tailgate Repair Kit

for Nissan Qashqai Dualis J10 2006 - 2013

For sale is a DIY repair kit for the reattachment of your existing Qashqai, Qashqai +2 or Dualis tailgate or boot lid handle. Fits all types - with or without camera and keyless entry.

There is a potential for the tailgate handle on the J10 Qashqai and Qashqai +2 to break off if pulled on roughly. This can lead to MOT failure and further damage to your vehicle. With garages charging up to £380 for a replacement part painted in the correct colour, this simple and improved design allows you to refit the original to your car, saving hundreds of pounds!

I first designed and made these brackets for my wife’s Qashqai+2 over 3 years ago, and have since repaired many, many others. The design has been proven to work through the UK’s hottest summer and coldest winters.

The new mounts bond to the existing handle with the pure acetone supplied in the kit. This forms a perfect, homogenous component - not a 'glued' joint. It uses the vehicle’s original special bolts to attach to the body work in exactly the same position as the original (the mounts are specially designed to allow minor adjustment of the handle position to a achieve a perfect fit).

This solution is extremely simple to use, requiring no mechanic experience, using no specialised tools and there is no need for difficult measurements to be made, simply fit the new mounts to the boot lid and bond to the existing handle.

This works for all models; with and without camera and I-key.

The kit leaves you with a perfectly fitting handle, just like the original.

What you receive:

4 x ABS brackets

1 x bottle of pure acetone (adhesive)

1 x application brush

1 x pair of protective gloves

1 x sheet of aluminium oxide paper for surface preparation

1 x set of comprehensive instructions including photos (5 pages)

What you will need:

Cross-headed screwdriver (to remove the interior handle for Qashqai, 10mm socket for Qashqai+2)
A kitchen knife covered in sellotape (to act as a lever to remove trim and not damage the vehicle)
A pair of pliers to break off the old broken plastic (a very simple process)
A pencil (to mark the mounts' location before gluing)
10mm socket (to dismount and remount the existing handle) but we can supply one if necessary!
