• ~This gorgeous quilted textile was produced in Normany, France. It was printed by Daliphard a Radepont in 1861 and the pattern is called " LAmazone".  This gorgeous textile is printed using the root of the madder plant and has the most wonderful deep caramel ground with faded, dusty raspberry red and a faded sienna purple ~ This textile is hand quilted and hand stitched and there is a light cotton batting. The backing is a gorgeous homespun linen with the most wonderful detail ~ small blue monogram , patches etc ~ gorgeous homespun !! ~*~  ~ This textile would have been part of a bedding set .~*~ Ideal for decorative uses such as hanging, upholstery, collecting , table cover , pillows etc ~*~   ( I 246) 

MEASUREMENTS : This lovely piece measures : 54 inches wide  by approx. 83 inches long 

Condition ~ : I've freshly laundered this lovely textile and it's fresh and beautiful ~!  There are some marks and a few small holes ~  The backing has some staining ( please see photographs) The trim is missing from around the scallop in places. Generally in wonderful condition for it's age, however not without the signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful textiles ~*~
