Vintage Hoot.uk is a long established PROFESSIONAL wedding, event and FILM hire company,  based just SW of London. We operate 365 days per year at short notice holidays inclusive!

We specialise in Wolseleys and Fire or Ambulance Emergency vehicles from 1930s to 1960s 

We are the only hirer with 2 of these Wolseleys, and an A70 Hereford Police car (from mid 2024)

Even if you do not have a Police connection, there is nothing compares to the fun and elegance of these gleaming chromed cars sweeping in with bells ringing, and of course vintage uniformed Police Flying Squad chauffers.

  • BRIDES NOTE:Our luxury cars are not to be confused with the very small 'Police PANDA cars' like Ford Anglias and Morris Minors which were NOT big 6 front line cars,we dont offer them for weddings as they are ridiculously small and basic inside.

    BRIDESMAIDS up to 4 or 5 can be whispered along to the ceremony before the Bride departs

    Fun GROOMS car , we even carry spare caps & tunics,  handcuffs, truncheon ( for a bit of humour ) great for photos OR SURPRISE HIRE GIFTS, our actor can 'arrest' & 'cuff' your groom if necessary!

    OR as M.I.5 Formal car / DETECTIVES car: We can supply car incognito without Police signage, and period suited chauffer plus homberg hats and detectives mac etc.

    FEES:  from as little as £250 per 3hrs local to RG28 or SP11 postcodes

    PLEASE NOTE:  B.I.N. is for our standard holding deposit booking fee,  Refundable within 30 days if plans or date changes, Hence our NO Pressure/ NO RISK BOOKING POLICY please first advise of your date & any postcode details you know at this time, along with a contact number, we can then set up a listing just for you.

    ALL cars have detailed Film history & precision (stunt) driver has acted in various productions

    3 matching cars available; as seen in the Crown, Marilyn fim, Bletchley series etc etc. & for FILM HIRE we cover ALL of UK.

    DIRECTORS NOTE; these iconic bigger 6/80 s with SPLIT WINDSCREEN & SIX cylinder cars are the ONLY correct to the  postwar period from 1948 Wolseley Police squad cars!  No area Police forces used the other smaller models.  Flying squads etc used the Six cylinder cars ONLY.    These are not small 'Police PANDA cars' they came in around 1965 and were not front line cars. 

    Blue beacon lamps & 2 tone sirens available, but not period correct until circa 1963
