The photo is captioned 'THE ALL SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL ORCHESTRA' The image is dated 'February 20, 1949' The photo measures 8 in x 20.25 in in a folding mat slightly larger. The black and white photo is in excellent condition. 

The image shows roughly 50 or so of the best high school orchestral performers from Southern California looking like they are about to perform.
