Here is handsome Scottish Table or Fish Slice in the popular Fiddle and Thread pattern made by the famous Edinburgh silversmiths, Walter and Patrick Cunningham.
This substantial Table Slice was made in 1805 in fully hallmarked Scottish Sterling Silver.
Originally made as a fish slice, it is now also useful for serving entrees, pie, cheesecake or pastries.
The blade of the Table Slice has an intricate pierced “flame” pattern.
There are two lovely scroll initials “CB” engraved on the front of the handle.
The Table Slice is overall in excellent condition, with only some light normal wear consistent with its age and usage – see photographs.
