Pet Crate for the Home or Car
Things to Check when using in a vehicle
Length - from the top of the back seats to your boot lid (When the boot is closed) Remember to measure from the top of the seat as all rear seats slope backwards.
Width - Is the boot wide enough to fit in with other items you need to carry.
Height - Is there a enough height for the crate to fit?
Dog Size - You may have a large breed of dog, so assume you need a large crate, however whats the point in ordering a large or ex large crate if its not going to fit your vehicle. MEASURE FIRST AND CHECK & THEN GET SOMEONE ELSE TO MEASURE IT AGAIN. This will save you having to pay to return it if it doesn't fit.
Dog & Puppy Cage Large (36"L x 23"W x 26"H), Two Doors - Locking Lever - Plastic Tray
Dog & Puppy Cage Extra Large (42"L x 28"W x 31"H), Two Doors - Locking Lever - Plastic Tray
Each cage comes with its plastic handle, plastic base tray, the trays in the base are able to be removed without the pet having to vacate the crate, it simply pulls out of the side. All the crates fold down flat.
Advice!
You should not be buying a crate for your pet because of a behaviour problem, you should train your pet with the crate before leaving them alone in it.
Crates are designed for training pets around the home and should NOT be used to hold aggressive or anxious dogs.
If your pet shows any sign of distress we advise you do not leave them alone in it unsupervised.
Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of their tail (Where it meets the body). Then add 4-6 inches on to this measurement which will allow for stretching out and turning around.
