This 284 page hardcover traces the advent of the modern day helicopter and its creator, the "brilliant thirty-seven year old Spanish aeronautical engineer, " who founded The Pitcairn-Cierva Autogiro Company of America.

Well illustrated with black and white photos and a few diagrams of the machine and its rotating wing design.

Very good condition.  Comes in the sparse dustjacket, which is price clipped, has small corner chips, wrinkling and a little foxing along its spine.  The book, itself, is unmarked, complete and tightly bound.  The jacket is now protected in clear, removable mylar.
