For this listing we offer one (1) Vintage Gray Mabuchi  "Red Bomb" Style Slot Car Motor by Archer a Product of Allied Radio Shack, Div of Tandy Corp.  Ft. Worth, Texas. Head Driven 20,000 RPM.

 This Motor is a direct replacement for many early Series I Strombecker & Revell Plastic chassis applications - Gearing can also be easily revised to suit any track - 2mm (0.078") Diameter Motor Shaft.

High Performance 20,000 RPM, 12 Volt Windings.  This Motor is in New condition.  It ran when touched to a Power Pak.  Please look at the pictures closely.   Original manufacturer's #273-212 (Mabuchi Japan 15R Size) 

This motor was renown for great smooth power in a very compact package. Very impressive technology for the time.  Perfect for all 1/32nd, 1/24th 1/25th scale cars.

For Your Info:

(Can Driven) Pinion armature comes out the Can end of the motor. .

(Head Driven) Pinion armature comes out the Head end of the motor.
