Icaro Solar X PPG Helmet
With Peltor 3M-X5 Ear Protection
The new Solar X helmet from Icaro has a very modern look thanks to its reduced width, which helps to reduce weight and offers less resistance to the air. It has a 3mm polycarbonate shell that makes the helmet very strong and the inner polystyrene has two channels to create airflow inside the helmet. You can open or close the air vent easily with one hand while flying.
The internal padding incorporates a wheel regulator in order to perfectly adjust the size to your head circumference. This padding is removable and can be washed. The helmet has plastic coated stainless steel wire side pieces and a micrometric chin strap. The weight is only 550 grams and is certified EN 966.
The Solar X Helmet is available now in four different standard colors: Green/Black, Orange/Black, White/Black and Carbon Optic. This listing does NOT include the Visor, but they are available in our eBay Store.
Included with this Icaro Solar-X Helmet are the Peltor Deluxe 3M-X5 earcups with 37dB SNR Noise Reduction. These are some of the best ear protectors available, and Sena Bluetooth Communication Systems can easily be added (available in our eBay Store). Please note that the earcup color is slightly different than the one shown on some of the helmet photos above - there is also a photo of the Peltor earcups by themselves above.
There are no Radio or Bluetooth Communication Electronics in this helmet, perfect for those that want to add their own system.

The helmet is available in three sizes:
- Small (53cm to 56cm)
- Medium (57cm to 59cm)
- Large (60cm to 61cm.)
The size numbers correspond to the pilot’s head circumference.
